Visa & Invitation Letter Visa Information

International attendees traveling to South Korea for INCCIP 2025 in Seoul must ensure they have valid passports and, if required, entry visas before their arrival.

While some countries qualify for visa-free entry, all international participants should verify if their country is eligible.

K-ETA

The K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) is mandatory for visa-free travelers entering South Korea. This online travel authorization requires submission of relevant travel details.

Effective from September 1, 2021, all foreigners from visa waiver or visa-free countries must obtain K-ETA before boarding a flight to Korea.

• Travelers without a valid K-ETA or visa will be denied boarding.

• Approval may take 72 hours or longer, depending on the volume of applications and applicant-specific circumstances.

Invitation Letter

Official invitation letters are issued only to participants who have completed their registration payment.

To request an invitation letter by email, contact the secretariat at leejina1223@gmail.com.

• The invitation letter is not a financial commitment from the organizer.

• Requests for an original printed letter must be made via email at least one month before the registration deadline.

Note: The secretariat provides documentation solely for visa applications and does not assist with visa issuance or communicate with embassies on your behalf.

Notarized Invitation Letter

For attendees requiring a notarized invitation letter for visa purposes:

• Submit your request to leejina1223@gmail.com by May 1, 2025.

• A fee of USD 50 will be charged for notary services and air courier.

• Letters will be dispatched via airmail within a week of full payment confirmation.

Important: Confirm with your local Korean Embassy if a notarized letter is necessary for visa issuance.

Notes on Registration

Registrants who do not deposit within the advance registration period will be excluded. Only registrants wearing their name tags will be allowed entrance.

Refunds up to 7 days before event through eventbrite (registration site) If you need visa approval, please apply early.

No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline.
